Dermot advises the Board of The King’s Trust Group Company and supports the Chief Executives of all the King’s Trust charities. Since 2017, he has been instrumental in building The King’s Trust Group of charities. Between 2017-20, he was the Interim Chief Executive of each of The King’s Trust International, The King’s Trust Canada and The King’s Trust Australia; and before that he was a UK Director with The King’s Trust (2012-17).

Before joining The King’s Trust, Dermot was a civil servant with His Majesty’s Treasury and the British Embassy in the USA (1994-2005) and the founding CEO of the Centre for Cities research organisation (2005-10).

Nick is responsible for overseeing the finances of The King’s Trust Group Company, and works in close collaboration with finance colleagues across the King’s Trust charities. He provides advice to the Chief Operating Officer and Board on matters of finance and risk, ensuring robust financial management and oversight. Previously, Nick served as Financial Controller at an international NGO. He began his career in audit, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Kate is responsible for raising funds in support of our global work, including working with the Board of The King’s Trust Group Company to secure and steward Global Patrons. She works in close collaboration with fundraising colleagues across the King’s Trust charities to identify and unlock opportunities to secure transformative funding to support more young people globally. Previously, Kate was Director of Development & Communications for a community foundation. She has 20 years’ experience in fundraising, principally philanthropy.
