The King’s Trust Group Annual Report

During 2022/23, we formally established The King’s Trust Group, including The King’s Trust Group Company, which supports all the other The King’s Trust charities by sharing best practice, raising funds to support our global work, demonstrating our shared impact and managing shared risks.

With our partners, we supported almost 100,000 young people during 2022/23 to gain the skills they need to access the jobs of tomorrow. This included almost 67,000 young people in the UK and 32,000 across the following 21 countries: Australia, Barbados, Canada, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, India, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Serbia, Tanzania, Trinidad & Tobago and Uganda. We have also now started to support young people in the USA.

Our Founding Patrons

His Highness The Aga Khan is the Global Founding Patron of The King’s Trust Group and HSBC is our Global Founding Corporate Partner. Through their incredible generosity and thanks to our other valued supporters, we are expanding our work to transform young lives and build stronger communities across the world.

The King’s Trust Group report on the Future of Work

In August 2023, we released the third in our series of reports into young people’s views on the future of work. The report, which surveyed more than 12,000 young people from 10 countries, highlighted how the cost of living crisis has been devastating for many – with no improvement in global youth unemployment rates, the next generation urgently needs the right skills to move forward.
